I hope you have not missed my message?  To take lessons to learn the piano isn’t easy.  It is even more hard if you are an adult beginner.  Make no mistake ; it really does need a great deal of understanding, difficult work, and practice.  I’d even say that it may never be entirely mastered. 
 
If you’re a musician who is always looking for to learn new things, then learning to play by ear is an acceptable challenge.  I hope you first read the learn piano with hear and play review before settling on a course to study.
